I'm mad at technology right now
I'm about to tell my entire technology-dependent existence to piss up a rope.
Let's see, in the past few days:
- My iPhone won't charge using a USB-C cable. Must use MagSafe
- The desktop Linux machine suddenly won't find its own Bluetooth device
- Updating Fedora on the Framework fails repeatedly
- The Reolink phone app can't connect to the doorbell half the time
- The laser printer randomly disappears from the network
- Liquid Glass on Tahoe still sucks
- I can't send email using Emacs alluvasudden
- Torrent downloads on the Mac Mini are insanely slow, but work fine on other machines with same software/network/vpn
And who can forget the incessant, wildly frustrating and annoying discourse around AI..or Apple...or Meta...or OpenAI...etc.
Pulling away from my usual tech-immersive lifestyle seems like a good plan, today.
It's one reason I'm posting here. For some reason, Ghost feels like the simple option right now. Weird, right?
