Chris Wellons' post, I have officially retired from Emacs, made me a little sad. Not because he's stopped using Emacs, but rather that he was able to stop using Emacs. I've "retired" from Emacs at least a dozen times. I've done it twice in the last two weeks. Never sticks.

My dog has surgery this morning to remove a handful of large cysts on her back. It's going to be a day.
