What do I even mean by "simple"?
It's hard to simplify things when I don't know what the word even means to me.
In my recent post, I've made things too complicated again, I lamented the fact that I've not been successful with my goal to "Reduce & Simplify". In that post, I mentioned that one thing I would be doing is focus on one blog only. Yesterday, I spent too much time staring at my blogs, wondering which one was just the right amount of simple. I ended the day without an answer.
It all depends on how I define "simple". From a hosting standpoint, a completely static website is simplest. From a publishing angle, Ghost is simpler. From a future-proofing standpoint, raw HTML is as simple as it gets. See what I mean?
Today, I want publishing to be simple. I don't want to think about file names or image URLs or deployments or Hugo updates or any of that. Today, I want to type and hit the "Publish" button.
