I ran the first roll through it, and I'm happy to report that the new Nikon FE2 seems to be working flawlessly. The mechanics feel fine, frame spacing is even, automatic exposure is accurate, and I haven't noticed any light leaks. All good things for a nearly 40-year-old camera.

My FM2n is a fine camera, but I prefer the match-needle metering in the FE2. Aperture priority auto exposure doesn't hurt my feelings, either.
