You’ve told us that Flickr is about discovery, not popularity; it’s about permanence, not the ephemeral; and it’s about community, not influence. Put simply, Flickr is about photography, not photos — so that’s where we’ll focus in 2020 and beyond.
Wouldn't it be something if they acted on this in a way consistent with its intent?
My concern is that the post goes on to talk about increasing "exposure" and "engagement" which sure feels like it could fall into the influencer trap.
However, I choose to remain optimistic about Flickr's future and plan to continue making it the hub of my public photo sharing.
